Poyntzs Road Water Supply Upgrade

The Poyntzs Road water supply needs to be upgraded to comply with the Drinking-water Standards for New Zealand (DWSNZ). To help the Council make a decision on the way forward for this project, we want to hear what residents on the Poyntzs Road water supply think of a range of options to upgrade the supply.

We sent each resident on the Poyntzs Road Water Supply a letter along with comprehensive information and analysis of costings for the options to upgrade the supply. A copy of the information is included here under Documents. Also included is the original presentation from the virtual public meeting that was held during lockdown in March.

We want to know which option you prefer, or hear about any feedback you have on the options presented to either drill a new deep well, or connect with the West Eyreton scheme.
