Consultation has concluded
Oxford Football Club is proposing to set up a base at Cust Domain for its intermediate and senior teams.
The Club is currently based at Pearson Park in Oxford, but due to its growing membership, there’s no longer enough field space to accommodate all teams.
In 2023, the Club introduced the Free Kids Football programme in response to declining membership amongst junior players. Since that time junior numbers have increased 250% from 40 to 140 players, with Senior members also doubling.
To accommodate the increase in older youth and senior player numbers, more field space is required. To accommodate this increase in player numbers, more field space is required, specifically for older grades.
What we’re proposing
We’re proposing to allow Oxford Football Club to establish a base at Cust Domain for its intermediate and senior teams.
The proposal suggests dividing Cust Domain into two senior fields and one intermediate, plus a smaller practice field.
The Club will expect to use the Domain for intermediate games on Saturday mornings and senior games in the afternoon.
