Parking on Williams Street, Kaiapoi

Earlier this year we began a review of parking restrictions within Kaiapoi’s Town Centre.

We asked Abley Transport Consultants to assess whether we’re adequately catering for the town’s different parking demands, from short-term parking for shoppers and visitors, to all-day parking for workers.

As a result, we’ve identified six locations that could benefit from adjustments. The proposed changes will help us better meet the current parking needs and to ensure greater parking efficiency across the town centre’s parking network.

Before we commit to any changes, we want feedback from property and business owners in the affected areas.

Please share your thoughts on each of the six proposed changes before 17 December using the survey below or download the pdf form from the documents tab.
