Currie Park Playground Redesign

This consultation has now closed. The team are now working on a concept design for the park and will be engaging with the public around this plan later this year.

Currie Park is a neighborhood reserve bordering Ellen Place and Feldwick Drive. This park includes a small playground, a large open grass area, park benches and native gardens. While this consultation focuses on upgrading the play area, We would also like to hear ideas from the community to improve the whole park.

We would like you to think about:

• What you use Currie Park for?
• What things you like at Currie Park?
• What you would like to see in the playground?
• How the wider park could be improved?

The information collected will be used to create a concept plan for the park development and we will come back to the community seeking feedback on the draft design. The Kaiapoi Tuahiwi Community Board will have final approval of the plan.
