Children's Day - 3 March 2024

Welcome to Children’s Day 2024!

We want to have playful events in all our communities around the district to celebrate our tamariki on Sunday 3 March and we need your help! 

If you've got an event we'll help promote it!

Whether you are a parent, guardian, whānau member, educator or other member of our community, we encourage you join the fun by hosting a Children's Day event. Your event can be anything, big or small. Host a teddy bear picnic, do some face painting, chalk a mural, have giant garden games, create a fairy forest...anything that gets us playing! Just make sure you let us know about it using this survey so that we can tell everyone that it's happening. 

We're also on the hunt for volunteers to help us throw some celebrations of our own - you can register to help via the survey below. 

Save the date and we'll post a flyer of events happening around the district closer to Children's Day.
