The Waimakariri Youth Council (WYC) wants to hear from everyone aged 12–24 across the district. This questionnaire is your chance to share what you love about where you live, what matters most to you, and how you think climate change could shape your future.
Your voice is important. The feedback we gather will help the Youth Council represent young people in future submissions and ensure decision-makers at Council understand the youth perspective on key issues - especially as they plan for the district’s future through the 2027 Long Term Plan (LTP).
This project, led by the WYC Environment Group as part of the Future Voices initiative, is all about making sure young people are heard early - before big decisions are made. Your ideas, experiences, and expectations will directly help shape conversations with Council.
