Waimakariri District Council has completed its review of the Class 4 Gambling Venue Policy and Totalisator Agency Board (TAB) Venue Policy.

As part of the review, we assessed the social impacts of gambling in our district, including both the benefits and potential harms for our community.

Following the review, Council is proposing to retain the current policies with only minor administrative updates. Before making a final decision, we would like to hear from residents, businesses, community organisations, and anyone with an interest in these policies.

Your feedback will help Council understand whether the current approach remains appropriate for our district. Please have you say before October 8.
